Product Development

The first spark of a product idea sets the Nike Product Development team into motion. Product developers drive the creation process for Nike footwear, apparel and equipment by transforming a designer’s sketch or two-dimensional rendering into a commercially viable product. Product developers engage in idea generation, material selection and construction, material sourcing, product testing and more. They work with factories to create prototypes, test colors and refine the product’s construction and fit. And they’re adept at partnerships, working closely with Merchandising, Design, Manufacturing and others across the company.
