If you're the one for this role, you'll be joining the Nike Consumer Digital Technology organization. As Senior Project Manager for Web Content Management, you will act as Scrum Master and track internal and external work, budget spend and more. This role will work with many people and teams to deliver a Web Content Management suite and make it work well for Nike in our web presences worldwide. Any experience with CQ5 is a plus.
The ideal person for this role will have worked in a software development organization or company. They will have Agile development process knowledge and will be a Scrum Master, or have the ability to be one very quickly.
The Senior Project Manager for Web Content Management will deliver an enterprise wide WCM/CMS platform (CQ5) for Nike's consumer facing web sites. This entails functional development of the platform, assisting digital agencies to use the platform to launch web sites, and ensuring the Nike users are trained and comfortable with the technology and using it to the fullest. As the team's Project Manager, you will work with the team lead to make sure all of these areas are unfolding to plan.
The Sr. Project Manager for Web Content Management will focus their efforts on:
- Working with the WCM Capability Lead to plan software releases that deliver key functionality to the business in support of major web initiatives
- Use agile/scrum methods (team velocity, team demos, retrospectives, sprint planning) to plan software sprints and releases
- Coordination and planning with a team made of local and distributed members
- Monitoring finances such as agency billing to ensure alignment against budget
- Working with WCM Capability Lead to adjust budget as needed
- Building and maintaining relationship with agency partners
- Working with other team leads to understand and manage cross-capability team dependencies
- Work with Capability Lead and team BSAs to ensure that user stories/requirements/acceptance criteria are gathered and provided to development team as needed
- Create, manage and communicate development sprint schedules and status
- Communicate capability releases to the stakeholder base.
- Developing internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and improve responsiveness

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:
· 5 years of professional experience in IT or business
· Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Inf Systems, Business, or other relevant area, (2 years of additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree)
· 2 years experience working as a Scrum Master, Software Project Manager, Development or QA Manager on multiple projects and business functions
· Deep knowledge and hands on creation of key agile/scrum artifacts including Release Plans, Sprint Plans, Release Burndowns, Sprint Burndowns.
· Self starter with excellent communication skills, ability to multi task, work independently and remain action-oriented in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Strong interpersonal communication skills to work with diverse groups of internal and external people.
· Proven ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
· Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
· Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get into the details
· Experience in full life-cycle solution delivery projects (more than 15 people, longer than 6 months).
· Experience and interest in working in an Agile /Scrum development environment.
· Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation.
Highly Desired, but not required:
• Prior experience working with or developing content management systems (CMS)
• Prior experience working with digital/interactive design agencies
• Experience using Agile planning tools such as Jira, Rally, or Version One preferred.
• Scrum Master Certification
