If you’re ready to innovate and lead as an engineering manager, join our Consumer Direct Finance Engineering Team. We combine contemporary technology, agility, and a collaborative culture to deliver solutions that enable Nike’s Direct to Consumer products and services. We are a diverse team and our culture is important. As a team, we are responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining services to support complex transaction flows that scale with precision. Working with our team will be both rewarding and challenging.
As an Engineering Manager, you will manage two squads and align technical resources with global product needs. You will lead by doing; building familiarity with our code base, reviewing pull requests and influencing design and process decisions. You will also identify opportunities to innovate with new technology, while ensuring scalability and observability of work delivered. An agile mindset and an understanding how to respond to change are important. It is an exciting time to grow and learn with our talented Consumer Direct Finance Engineering Team.
• 4+ years’ Engineering Management experience
• 4+ years’ Engineering experience building performant technology
• Experience with: Java, Spring, AWS Services (S3, SQS, EC2, Lambda), NodeJS, React, Jira, Jenkins, GIT, and/ or Elasticsearch
• Agile mindset with DevOps experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
