Embedded in teams across the company, strategy professionals explore complex business issues; conduct consumer, competitive and market analyses; create financial models and develop action plans. The Strategic Planning teams help write the future of sport by charting Nike’s path forward.

Corporate Development is responsible for the identification and execution of strategic transactions across NIKE, Inc. We are seeking a Corporate Development Manager with expertise in financial and strategic analysis and planning, deal execution and integration planning to strengthen our team and support central initiatives across the enterprise.

As a member of the Corporate Development Team, you will partner closely with Nike Leadership to execute partnerships (investment, acquisition, joint venture, etc.) that drive strategic and financial value for Nike, Inc. In this role, you will assist in strategic transaction planning and vetting, including gathering information from various sources and incorporate multiple views into well-reasoned recommendations. You will be responsible for performing market analysis, providing analytic and financial modeling support, project managing strategic initiatives and communicating new ideas to Senior Leaders.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Development, while engaging with leadership across the organization and regularly partner cross-functionally with key functional partners and partners within the Strategy, Finance, Controlling and Legal organization.


WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE 


- Bachelor’s degree in related field

- 5+ years of experience in executing financial assessment, financial modeling, consulting and/or corporate strategy

- 2 additional years required in lieu of a degree

- Proven understanding of Excel and PowerPoint / Keynote

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to propose solutions and have solutions accepted

- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

Preferred:

- Background in investment banking, corporate development, consulting, and/or corporate strategy

- Experienced working in a complex, fast paced and results-oriented group environment

- Ability to travel up to 10%
