- Assists with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines which aligns the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
- Partners with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
- Serves as the first point of HR on-site contact and provides employee relations counseling.
- Acts as a coach and consultant for leaders on matters of performance management, leadership capability, employee morale, etc.
- Maintain compliance to important policies and procedures as well as all relevant government laws and regulations (i.e. EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
- Assesses the organization so that it supports the attainment of the company's goals
- HR Expertise with general knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Relationship Management/Interpersonal Skills
- Mentoring/Counseling/Consultation Skills
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Strong drive for results
- Excellent organizational skills and aptitude in problem solving.
What You Bring to Nike
- A Bachelor's degree and three years of HR experience or equivalent mix of education and experience
- HR experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred
- Professional HR Certification preferred
