As our MPO Data Analysis and Insights Director, you’ll lead the NA geo team in ensuring that Nike is meeting consumer expectations, while driving growth and profitability, maximizing service, and optimizing order book productivity into an omnichannel marketplace!

Who are we looking for

We are searching for a Director for our Data Insights & Analysis team! You have a high discernment, with an affinity for business reporting, analysis, and working with business intelligence tools and large amounts of data. You have a solid history of analytical team leadership, communications and building collaborative business partner relationships. You can guide a team through the work required to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypotheses and make recommendations. You have deep knowledge of measurement science methods including causal inference and optimization. You solid experience driving results packaging and development of management presentations. You use data and insights to influence decision making.

What will you work on

As the Director, you will guide and lead all aspects of development and execution of reporting, performance management and analytics across North America Marketplace Operations and integrate into the NA Supply Chain value stream to enable data driven business decisions that will drive performance and lead to the accomplishment of annual goals. You’ll drive creation and implementation of decision support systems & metrics that help the business operationalize analytical insights and direct development of reporting tools, methodologies and ad hoc analysis to pull out relevant data, provide trending reporting, and evaluate performance metrics to help the teams drive their business. In this role, you will synthesize and package complex analyses, effectively deliver results and drive deeper data and customer knowledge across technical and non-technical audiences. You’ll own the identification of business analysis, discovery of business insights and the translation of the insight into decisions and actions.

Who will you work with

You will develop and lead a hardworking insights & analytics team responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of Nike’s consumers and omnichannel supply chain performance through data and analytics. You’ll own relationships with diverse business partners to understand current and anticipate future customer and business needs, understand requirements and define relevant strategic questions. You will forecast and report business key performance indicators (critical metrics) to senior leadership in partnership with key partners. You’ll partner across all the functions within MPO, Data Science, Advanced Analytics and other functional teams (such as finance, planning, etc) at Nike to help accelerate and use data capabilities and insights as part of the company’s integrated data offense. You will build, manage, mentor, and inspire teams.

What you bring to NIKE
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 8-9 years of meaningful professional experience with an emphasis on retail or digital commerce business reporting and analytics
  • Strong hands-on experience working with real-world analytical challenges and managing a complex portfolio and multiple partners in a fast paced, dynamic and matrixed team and business environment
  • Solid project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and complexity; propensity for thinking through projects in a process oriented way
  • Ability to develop positive relationships across a multi-layered, dynamic, organization
