We’re looking for a Global Supply Chain Innovation Director. This role develops the multi-year Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) strategy, initiative roadmaps, and annual execution plans. This role is responsible for bringing the strategy to life through leading cross-functional programs, developing project plans, defining landmarks, tracking progress, and driving program governance to share overall progress. 

You’ll be working with Global SCI team members, Operations Leadership, Geography Operations, Technology, and other functional teams to develop the strategy, roadmaps, and initiative plans. In this role, you will contribute to short- and long-term strategic planning cycle in support of distribution, logistics, manufacturing and technology strategies. 

We are a highly cross-functional team. A day in the life of the Global SCI team is highly cross-functional and the focus spans across strategy creation through strategy implementation. You will lead cross-functional programs to activate and implement supply chain innovations. You will facilitate cross-functional collaborative work sessions centered on strategic planning, roadmap development, and implementation planning. You will manage cross-functional program governance structure and steering committees to ensure progress against key deployment achievements. 

Partnering and collaborating with key stakeholders across global and geography functions, you will establish and socialize recommendations in support of driving the future of Converse Operations, define key investments required, and lead business case development as needed. 

You will conduct market research and analyze information on industry, marketplace, supply chain, technology, consumer, and competitor insights to identify risks and opportunities as they relate to Converse and Operations strategic goals. You will identify and integrate talent planning needs and learning and development programs required to enable the strategy. 

You will report to the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain Innovation. You will partner with team members within Converse, Nike, and across geographies. You will partner with Operations and Technology teams, Corporate Strategy and Finance teams as well as other business function teams.

-  Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Business Planning, or related field)

-  At least 7 years’ of proven experience in Supply Chain areas of logistics, transportation, or related fields

-  Project management experience preferred

-  Excellent understanding of supply chain operations and systems

-  Experience and ability to lead complex initiatives and project teams, across functions and geographies

-  Strong business partner relationship management skills

-  Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with team members across functions and geographies and at all levels through an open, engaging, and collaborative style

-  Leading with curiosity and ability to think creatively

-  Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and develop financial models

-  Skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities.

-  Strong meeting and group facilitation skills

-  Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)

-  Excellent written and verbal communications skills

-  Strong financial acumen

-  Proven track record to quickly assess situations, identify problems, and offer clear and concise plans to resolve them

-  Capability to work well under pressure and to adapt quickly to change
