The Nike Direct Digital Commerce Publishing Operations team exists to serve inspiring stories, product content, and experiences to our consumers! By using and embracing new technology and capabilities, we publish Nike Brand content across a host of Nike digital platforms throughout North America, including Nike’s web experience, Email, Nike App, Nike Run Club App, Nike Training Club App, and SNKRS App.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A Digital Content Author supports multiple cross-functional partners, including brand, merchandising, and digital technology, focused on delivering a seamless experience to the Nike consumer. This position sits at the final checkpoint of the marketing funnel and has the last touch before consumers engage with the brand. A successful candidate will balance multiple projects at once, have a keen attention to detail, passion for the brand, and a constant curiosity that keeps them driven! As a subject matter authority for publishing tools, this candidate should be able to optimally communicate, simplify, and relay technical language to cross-functional partners.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Your main role will be to take the portfolio of assets created from the brand and creative teams and input them into the Nike Communication Platform. You’ll then work back with key partners to QA all content and consumer journey’s before scheduling and publishing.
A typical day/week can entail reviewing the brand plans for your assigned category or platform. You’ll have weekly meetings with your cross-functional partners to conceptualize and align on the priorities and issues. You’ll build, QA, publish, and monitor real-time delivery of all content you submit. On occasion, there will be technical challenges that will require triage and communication with technical support teams to resolve.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Digital Brand, Brand Design, Membership, Site Merchandising, Platform Operations, Digital Product Support, Digital Operations, and Platform Business teams.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Design, or a related field or combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience including 1-2 years web design, email, or CMS authoring/management experience
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and reliably meet deadlines
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new priorities
- Detail orientation and intrinsic passion toward site success and high-quality delivery
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Logical reasoning, troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills
- Proven attention to detail and process excellence
