We are searching for our next HR Delivery Operations Director on the Converse HR team who be responsible for long-range strategy, short-range annual planning, and the delivery of HR programs and solutions to employees at Converse! We are looking for a systems thinker, who thrives in creating order and is passionate about keeping teams organized. We need a leader who will serve as Converse HR’s Chief of Staff who will display the ability to lead through and influence others, demonstrate proficiency in high-profile communications, as well as keep the team organized with an effective operating model.


In this position, you will influence and drive the development of the Global HR team’s strategic plan, linking strategy to priorities. You’ll embed the annual operating plan into the HR's operating model for HR Business Partner (HRBP) awareness, advocacy, and readiness to improve launch benefits (HR modernization and system/process changes). You’ll manage human capital data reporting across the organization, ranging from basic roster reporting to detailed metric tracking. Acting as HR’s Chief of Staff, you'll serve as a strategic thought-partner to the team and align team against the highest priorities! You'll oversee the measurement and communication of progress against priorities, as well as managing and leading special projects and initiatives as they arise.

You’ll also execute HR’s go to market experiences by shepherding readiness planning practices for all fiscal initiatives within each business facing HR team. You’ll define a coordinated business HR launch calendar to minimize business disruption and maximize consumer experiences. Further, you’ll serve data-driven insights back to central teams to influence timing of readiness activities and product drops.

Finally, you’ll steward the corporate workforce planning process, ensuring accurate data, tools, and effective management processes. You’ll own the alignment of critical partners (e.g. HRBPs, Business Leaders, Finance, and Enterprise Strategy) to make sound human capital investment decisions on a 12 to 18-month planning horizon. You’ll maintain tight partnership with Finance to align a single planning and forecasting process using “one-version of the truth” for headcount, wage expense, & wage base.


Reporting to the Head of HR for the Global Converse team, you will work alongside the business-facing HRBP team. While leading strategic priorities, you'll also be encouraged to partner with the HR Strategy and Portfolio, People Analytics, HR Technology, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams.




  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education, 2 additional years of experience, and training
  • 6+ years’ work experience in Human Resources, HR Planning and Operations, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting or related field.
  • In-depth HR Integration and Operations experience working with large global companies.
  • Demonstrable experience translating a global strategy, vision and/or enterprise objectives into a tactical roadmap.
  • Experience with operational workforce systems (e.g. SAP-HR/Finance, Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related area of study.
  • Previous Chief of Staff experience.
