A professional Database Administrator (DBA), who will be supporting 500+ SQL server and 200+ MySQL instances. Main responsibilities will be divided into two aspects. One is to use DBA specialist to support daily issues and troubleshooting, another is to take part in project database architecture analysis and design for business target.
* Daily support, including: DB monitoring, take care alerts, issue troubleshooting, etc.
* Database installation and initialization, high availability architecture design and implement.
* Security control and privilege grant
* Performance tuning and query code review
* Database backup and restore
* Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
* Analyze business target and design database architecture and data flow feasibility
* Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses

Skill Requirements

* 5+ years’ experience as a database administrator
* Expert SQL server knowledge
* Advanced Windows/Linux knowledge
* Advanced MySQL knowledge
* Advanced development knowledge, C# or PowerShell is preferred
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skill
* Familiar with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
* Better to have report tool and design knowledge, Tableau is preferred.
* Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
