NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will engage in deep problem analysis, detect infrastructure or code defects, define, report, and create observability processes for key performance indicators, and work with product delivery teams to provide long term solutions to production issues in Beaverton, OR. Will lead a team of site reliability engineers supporting a variety of applications within a digital ecosystem.  These applications can include everything from in-store point of sale systems, business to business platforms, an array of consumer mobile applications, or technologies powering a vast supply chain and order fulfillment infrastructure. Will drive best practices, continuous improvement and operational excellence using technical acumen, a strong collaborative nature, and a strong attention to detail. Will build and lead a team dedicated to providing site reliability engineering support for digital applications. Will work with the team to conduct deep dive investigations into systemic problems, identify root cause, and drive resolution. Will determine and report key performance indicators and metrics that effectively measure the overall health of applications and drive reporting efforts on these metrics. Will develop and execute observability including real time monitoring, tracing, and logging processes that provide visibility into site health and key performance indicators. Will identify and solve problems requiring automation and toil reduction. Will establish and maintain strong partnerships with technology teams – engineering and product leaders - to drive the site reliability engineering agenda and plan for both short and long-term engagements. Will engage in five percent or less domestic and international travel. 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information science. Experience: seven years of overall progressive experience in information technology.. Skills/Requirements:  7 years of experience: (1) managing information technology teams across geographies; (2) coding languages, including Java, Javascript, and NodeJS; (3) observability tooling, including Splunk, New Relic, and SignalFX; (4) Amazon Web Services; (5) driving technical solutions through automation; (6) sharing reporting and data collection information on incident trends, stability, and health of the applications across all levels of management; and (7) software development lifecycle.
