NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will be responsible for leveraging consumer insights, trend analysis and marketing expertise to identify opportunities and strategies that will drive innovation creation and brand activation in Beaverton, OR. Will partner with functions across product creation, brand marketing, brand planning, strategic planning and innovation; advanced design; and product and digital innovation. Will drive initiatives that frame key shifts in consumer, culture and business. Will develop creative and artistic solutions to effectively communicate consumer needs and benefits. Will identify and apply insights to drive functional and emotional design and to impact brand and category understanding of new contexts, audiences, and relationships with activities. Will manage the consumer insights and cultural context material that feed the global brand corporate strategic planning process. Will execute special projects involving consumer insights, identifying emerging trends and brand innovation communication. Will work with internal and external partners to ensure brand and design insights are consistently received and leverage the latest and most relevant consumer, cultural, and business trends available. Will manage the insight planning process, and work with the team to identify and articulate the consumer truths to influence strategic properties. Will support strategic analysis and development of product positioning and innovation portfolio management and communications. Will establish and manage a plan for brand insights to effectively input at key organizational checkpoints. Will execute special projects involving consumer and brand best practices. Will implement a range of research methods. Will conduct, moderate, analyze and deliver qualitative and quantitative research programs to articulate consumer truths to influence strategic priorities. Will conduct, analyze, and deliver global research initiatives. Will design bespoke research methodologies through leveraging design research expertise. Will plan, direct, and coordinate policies and programs, including determining the demand for products offered by a competitor, and identify potential customers. Will monitor trends that indicate the need for new products. Will provide insights for innovation and design strategy. Will manage global insights for innovation projects using relevant vendors. Will drive product and service design and innovation opportunities. Will have one to five direct subordinates. Will engage in 25 percent or less domestic and international travel. 
Experience: Ten years of overall progressive experience in consumer insights. Skills/Requirements:  7 years of experience: (1) implementing qualitative research methods; (2) conducting and moderating qualitative research; (3) conducting global research initiatives; (4) collaborating cross-functionally to provide innovation information to determine global marketing policy and strategy; (5) relying on consumer insights to innovate products; and (6) creating and presenting executive level presentations.
