NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Oversee and define the portfolio of data analytic products from strategic planning to tactical execution and the go-to-market strategy. Work closely with stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and understand the evolving business needs. Partner closely with the senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand their business challenges and develop appropriate data analytics, reporting and visualization solutions to address them. Actively evaluate and continuously improve the approach to reporting & data enablement through a robust improvement process focused on evaluating and improving the efficacy of existing metrics as well as benchmarking best in class external standards. Set the long-term strategy for data and products, particularly the evolution from data-centric to intelligence-centric solutions. Identify new data and technical partners that help facilitate strategy. Create business plans, road maps, and requirements that support Nike’s transformational initiatives objectives. Maintain a strong partnership and working knowledge with the engineering, data sciences, “big data”, and customer experience space to keep current of industry best practices and advances for application of data analytics and its relationship to the data products portfolio. Assess the business impact of different solutions and the trade-offs between customer needs, technology requirements and costs. Collaborate with Release Management to determine the optimum release strategy and Product Owners to optimize Feature delivery to the customers. Analyze and communicate customer adoption, performance, and time to market, quality and other metrics to stakeholders. Ensure Program priorities have necessary funding and review cost of accepted features. Build an effective Product Manager/Product Owner teams and partnership with stakeholders. Manage, mentor, and inspire multiple teams; managing performance, goals and development.
Applicant must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must include:
- Data visualization tools, such as Tableau, IBM, Cognos, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, or QlikView;
- Database management systems, such as Oracle, MySQL, Teradata, Netezza, SQL Server, or DB2;
- Large data sets;
- Cloud environments, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS;
- Big Data and NoSQL technologies, such as Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Impala, Cassandra, Strom, Flume, Pig, or Hive;
- Data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data management, ETL, API integrations, and data governance;
- Agile methodologies and principles, such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, and XP Programming;
- Information gathering, statistical analysis, and qualitative analysis;
- Operations planning, sales planning and market analysis;
- Project management; and
- Product strategy, product management and program management
