Digital Innovator–NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Participate in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, employee goal setting, coaching, hiring decisions, and performance monitoring; train or mentor staff; generate new ways of thinking about aspects of performance based products that result in growth opportunities and competitive advantages in the marketplace; develop ideas that are consistent with the vision for new products by collaborating with product creation on the genesis of new product concepts for all Nike business units; define protocol and establishes scope of testing required to prove and validate a concept; develop concrete insights which feed into the development of advanced product concepts through the use of new technologies or construction processes; deliver proof of concept by turning concepts and new product visions into reality; identify key elements of product construction materials and processes; engineer prototypes; enable the development of innovation projects turning concept ideation into reality by working in, or with, multi-disciplinary teams to include product creation, manufacturing, and 3rd party vendors; meet complex challenges with imaginative state of the art approaches supported by feasible solutions; draft report and present results and market concepts at the functional; and provide people leadership. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science or Robotics Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a computer related occupation.

Experience must include:

  • Robot Kinematics, Dynamics, Controls and Planning;

  • Robot Simulation;

  • Robot Testing and Sensor Validation;

  • Computer Vision & Robot Perception;

  • Camera Calibration;

  • Data Structures and Algorithms;

  • Software Engineering tools including C++, Matlab, and Python; and

  • Project Management.
