Will design, develop,
lead, and deploy SAP based solutions in Beaverton, OR. Will lead other senior
engineers to ensure that developments work in a highly integrated environment.
Will oversee efforts to understand requirements, assist in providing scope and
cost estimates, and help drive engineering activities through deployment. Will
partner with technical leads and managers to support other engineers with
technical consulting and direction, problem solving, as well as write and
review designs, technical specifications, and SAP ABAP coding. Will work
closely with architects and leads to ensure all solutions adhere to existing
guidelines and principals and will evolve processes in an effort to
continuously improve. Will partner with engineers on approaches and best
practices for leading large and small technical implementations. Will provide
support and systems and application solutions, to include
systems/data/application analysis, programming, and documentation. Will manage
efforts to develop action plans and processes, in coordination with management
team, for integrating activities and optimizing department resources to meet
major goals and objectives. Will facilitate application support, problem
solving, and issue resolution with internal and external resources. Will review
recommendations for technical solutions. Will manage the technical components
of the RFP process. Will resolve issues and determine options for issue
resolution and risk mitigation. Will define and communicate requirements for
technical environments and determine the technical scope for projects. Will
provide technical estimates for project budget input to Senior/Project Manager.
Will lead engagements with software vendors to ensure that code and
configuration requirements and deliverables are met. Will enforce architecture,
governance, security, and global process standards to system changes and
deployments. Will manage compliance issue identification and remediation. Will
review design integration needs. Will review database design and create
critical-path, high-risk, advanced technical designs. Will approve proof of
concept efforts and review results. Will enforce architectural direction and
ensure consistent technical approach within each department. Will allocate
resources based on performance monitoring and tuning results. Will manage and
enforce performance thresholds and standards. Will review and approve
performance test results, recommendations, and tuning results. Will oversee and
manage the creation of test plans, test execution, and validation of test
results. Will engage in five percent domestic and international travel.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information
Technology. Experience: eight years
of overall progressive software engineering experience. Skills/Requirements: six months of experience: (1)
developing software using ABAP on the SAP ECC / SCM platform; (2) developing
and supporting CIF integration; (3) Oracle; (4) demand planning and supply
network planning as part of SAP; (5) working in database technologies,
including Teradata or Snowflake; (6) leading information technology projects
and coordinating cross functionally with a variety of departments; and (7)
performance monitoring, corrections, and tuning.
