Will design, build and support implementations of key software technology components for the enterprise across multiple technology patterns including managed file transfer (MFT), messaging (both synchronous and asynchronous) (Oracle Fusion), event driven, streaming, process choreography, data enrichment and transformation (Informatica) service orchestration, API management, and web and mobile APIs in Beaverton, OR. Will ensure solutions are designed and developed using a scalable, highly resilient cloud native architecture. Will mentor and lead other engineers. Will evangelize and cultivate the adoption of enterprise platforms, open source software, and agile principles within the organization. Will work with product management to support product / service scoping activities. Will deliver well-documented and well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews. Will design and develop tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of platforms. Will ensure product and technical features are delivered to specification and on-time. Will collaborate with and consult with development teams. Will explain designs and constraints to stakeholders and technical teams. Will assist in the support and operation of platforms. Will work with leadership to define delivery schedules of key features through an agile framework. Will act as a key contributor to overall architecture, framework and design of enterprise platforms. Will architect and build scalable data architecture within a large-scale software development. Will work with cloud platforms using AWS, Azure, and GCP. Will work with programming languages using Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, Scala, and Node.js. Will lead front-end development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, HTML, and CSS). Will work with both relational and No-SQL databases as well as Docker and Kubernetes container technologies. Will work in hierarchical and distributed code repository management tools using GIT. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering. Experience: five years of overall progressive experience in application engineering. Skills/Requirements5 years of experience: (1) software design and development in an onshore and offshore model; (2) managed file transfer platforms, inclusive of OpenText; (3) software administration, including managed file transfer and Oracle; (4) cloud system administration including Unix administration, application maintenance, patching and monitoring, and maintenance activities; (5) networking, including DMZ; (6) defining, building, and architecting software architecture; (7) Python and Java programming languages; (8) RESTful API Services and SOAP Web Services; and (9) implementation of large middleware solutions, including Oracle Fusion.
