As the Oregon Manufacturing Operations Manager you will be responsible for the development of the production support team and work with cross-functional leadership to drive the local supply chain to support manufacturing. This position will also set goals and measurements to monitor performance and financial plans.

You'll lead and manage the logistics team, as well as purchasing and shipping/receiving functions for AIR MI OR. The Operations Manager works through operation shift facilitation to meet the objectives, shift communication, target accuracy, continuity, focus on goals and successful start of next shift. Work with supervisor(s) of relevant functional areas to meet shift targets and results achieved. Integrate & coordinate with the supervisor(s) to ensure communication & information flow across shifts.

May require creating compelling analysis and forecast assumptions to formulate, implement and monitor plans. Develop and implement demand/forecasting planning best practices.

You'll partner with a 3PL to coordinate international deliveries of product and coordinate warehousing in the Portland Area.

You'll work with the planning team to achieve a high level of operational performance supporting Air MI manufacturing.

Analyze and measure the effectiveness of supply chain performance and may recommend practices and procedures that result in measurable improvement. Conducts and/or manages strategic supply chain analysis which may include developing analyses and models based on complex operational data.

You'll analyze and understand the root cause, define sustainable solutions, develop action and communication plans, implement and review results in an effort to streamline planning, procurement, and operations within the AIR MI OR plant.

You'll manage employees and sets individual goals that link to departmental priorities. Coaches staff, supports development, makes hiring decisions, and drives performance management, recognition and rewards.


Requirements for the position include:

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Management or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years' relevant work experience in Demand, Supply Chain or Manufacturing functions
• Additional 2 years' work experience in lieu of degree
• Must have an expert understanding of the upstream and downstream Supply Chain processes
• Excellent presentation and high profile communication skills
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong financial acumen including exposure to budget responsibility in previous positions
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time
• Overseas experience is a plus  
• Footwear experience is a plus
