Description

As a Responsive Supply Chain Planner, you will analyze, develop, implement, and measure new and existing responsive projects and processes.  You will examine historical information along with current supply and inventory plans to make recommendations on advancing Nike’s 2X Speed corporate strategy. You will contribute to transformational projects that accelerate Nike’s speed to market within the Planning, Manufacturing and Operations.  You will support the advancement of Global Responsive Business processes to improve precision with which Nike forecasts and supplies product demand.

You will create, revise and communicate Global replenishment plans for NIKE product classifications of responsibility to ensure NIKE’s strategic objectives are met both for Long-Range and Short-Range plans.  You will use analysis and data-driven decision-making tools for the creation of balanced and executable seasonal, monthly, and weekly plans.

You will monitor factory performance & develop knowledge of factory issues, strengths, goals, & how these affect NIKE business objectives.  This involves monitoring & validating factory replenishment capabilities, lead times, inventory and work in process levels, weekly order volumes, tracking key models & communicating issues & possible solutions to affected Geographies. You will work with Global planning manager to implement solutions and update replenishment plans on a timely basis.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field (or 2 years' additional work-related experience in lieu of a degree) 
  • 3 years of work experience in a replenishment, capacity, supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management or buying environment. 
  • Project management experience a plus 
  • Data mining, critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply and inventory planning systems
