As Nike’s Retail Capability Product Director EMEA, you will lead the vision and roadmap of world-class digital experiences for athletes for Nike’s EMEA Geography. You will be part of the Nike Digital Engineering organization, and will contribute to definition and execution of the product vision and strategy. You will identify market opportunities to take advantage of and work closely with the Global Nike Digital Product and Engineering organizations to bring new capabilities to life. 

You will define a roadmap and product priorities based on a strong understanding of consumer needs, insights, and an even stronger handle on in-depth data analysis. You will provide direction for leaders across product management, program management, engineering, design, and quality assurance. You will represent the needs of the European consumers in prioritization across global opportunities. 

Working within a larger product team, you will be a leader who effectively organizes resources appropriately to achieve business objectives. You will also partner with executives across multiple functions to develop a cohesive product strategy, product roadmap, and to ensure business objectives are met. Above all, you will be a constant champion for the needs of our consumers. 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Set the strategic direction for our digital capability products, develop and drive a product roadmap in partnership with other Nike business stakeholders 

Management: Lead x-functional and multidisciplinary teams, with direct and indirect management relationships. 

Influencing: Create visibility to Europe specific needs in our Global team, and generate appetite to solve for those needs. 

Product lifecycle management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex products from conception to product/ market fit and growth 

Product strategy & vision: Create and effectively champion a data-driven, market-informed product vision & strategy 

Product roadmap definition: Develop a product feature and release roadmap based on in-depth data analysis, a clear understanding of consumer needs 

Prioritization: Drive alignment of EMEA priorities for backlog of features and functionality and participate in global prioritization process 

Planning and Execution: Effectively design project plans based on priorities, set clear/measurable objectives and deploy team resources appropriately to achieve business goals 

Product Specifications: Write and consult on product specifications, manage design challenges and execute agile product delivery 

Analytics and Experimentation: Develop and measure product KPIs, derive key insights, and devise and execute experiments and multivariate tests to find product solutions 

Collaborate with Engineering, Design and Program management leaders throughout completion of milestones and partner with brand marketing and central research/analytics teams throughout the product’s lifecycle 


  • Bachelor/Master degree required, MBA preferred 
  • At least 9 years of experience in product management; consumer mobile or web product experience required 
  • Experience with a variety of Payment types and vendors in a digital commerce/web environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high performance, cross-functional teams 
  • Exceptional data analysis skills 
  • Ability to create product deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, and requirements specifications; experience with cloud-based software tools preferred, but not required 
  • Experience managing live mobile app or web experiences with multivariate testing preferred, but not required 
  • Experience managing priorities with third party vendors and key partners 
  • Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail 
  • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry trends 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive stakeholders 
  • Strong passion for creating engaging, compelling fitness and sports user experiences 
  • Previous start-up, social networking and/or software consulting experience a strong plus
