As our Material Handler III, you'll provide shipping, receiving, scrap removal, recycling, material handling, and forklift operation services to Production and customers under minimal supervision. You will pickup and load finished outgoing goods onto trailers, complete shipping documentation, schedule pickups, and confirm orders in an integrated computer system to relieve inventory and start the invoice process. You will also receive and verify incoming loads against packing slips, resolve discrepancies, and deliver to the appropriate departments. You will remove raw materials scrapped from the floor, supply Production with empty Gaylords, prepare material for shipment, fill out packing lists, and email copies to recipients. This opportunity also involves supplying the Production floor with raw materials and supplies and tracking inventory on-hand. In addition, you'll recycle cardboard, banding, shrink-wrap, and maintain a clean warehouse.
KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Investigating and corrects inventory with leading Cycle Counts
• Ability to perform all job functions with minimal supervision
• Independently plan work day
• Mentors new Material Handler with OJT, best practices, and inventory management
KEY JOB CAPABILITIES
SPECIFIC WORK EXPERIENCE
• Can independently work across the entire plant on various product lines
• Can use SAP and Inventory Systems with high degree of precision
• 5+ years of Material Handling experience
• 5+ years experience operating a forklift preferred
• Ability to bend and stand during entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
IRREGULAR WORK HOURS
This job is part of a 24 hour per day facility and may require working on a rotating shift pattern
·Day shift: Monday - Saturday 6:00am – 2:30pm
·Evening shift: Monday – Saturday 2:00pm – 10:30pm
·Night shift: Monday – Saturday 10:00pm – 6:30am
• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP Inventory Systems
