Description

The Strategy, Planning and Operations Manager for NYC/East Territory is responsible for supporting the Brand team to deliver critical aspects of the Consumer Direct Offense in the most important city for Nike in NA and the world. In this role, you will span both Strategic Brand Planning as well as Brand Operations as it relates to serving the entire NYC brand team. Reporting to the Strategy, Planning and Operations Director of NYC/East, you will work closely with the Sr. Brand Director of Categories to create imaginative ways of working to impact the City Offense with all categories and functions.

The Strategy, Planning and Operations Manager will partner with Director of Consumer Insights to own, strengthen and evolve Nike’s internal insights platform as well as facilitate additional requests for research as well as consumer insights to support holistic brand and marketing plan led out of Nike NYHQ. Additionally, you will play a critical role supporting all integrated strategic planning gates from ideation to final implementation and de-brief.

You will take the lead on the creation and implementation of systems, processes, and resources that increase efficiency and effectiveness of brand marketing team—specifically seasonal planning process, budget forecasting and management as well as in-market executions. In addition, you will own, update, and share all team calendars, timelines, and project trackers—ensure all projects continue to move forward, and full team is clear on flying formation and roles and responsibilities.






Qualifications
  • 6-8 years’ experience in highly complex, fast-paced creative marketing environment. Account management, project management experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized, with a strategic approach to team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Top-notch written and visual communication skills (keynote master)
  • Subject matter expertise in general creative processes related to brand developing and consumer engagement
  • Understanding and POV on contemporary culture, specifically in NYC
