Inside the House of Innovation, our new store on the Champs Elysees, the promise of retail comes to life. As the Store Director, you will have full accountability for delivering the store’s budgeted growth and all KPIs, as well as:

  • Lead a brand organisation - making the brand come to life by aligning with brand priorities, leading through digital to create memorable experiences for Nike + members
  • Lead a team of 300+ (including two directors) to deliver a premium consumer experience and ensure House of Innovation represents the most pinnacle expression of the Nike brand in the marketplace.
  • Create a strategic vision for the store (service, product, environment, membership), which brings to life the global Nike Direct strategy and reflects the needs of the global and local consumer.
  • Deliver long term, profitable growth with a focus on growing revenue and maximizing productivity
  • Build strong relationships with geo and territory functional partners and leadership to influence strategic priorities (including membership, consumer journey & experiences), leverage capabilities and remove friction for the store
  • Partner with the senior management team and HR to create a people & engagement strategy for House of Innovation. Deploy this strategy and ensure core HR processes are embedded, through empowering and developing a strong team of people leaders and creating an inclusive culture which reflects Nike’s core values.
  • Represent House of Innovation and participate actively in the geo and territory consumer code process
  • Ensure the seasonal kick off process in store is led by the Service & Business Director in partnership with senior management team
  • Accountable for compliance and risk management (e.g. LP, health & safety, legal compliance), building strong partnerships with relevant functions to manage this.
  • Partner with retail operations to align on roadmap for launch of programs & in-store capabilities.
  • Optimize store visits to benefit the store & stakeholders and ensure the objective of the visit is met.
  • Influence, embrace and communicate the key city marketing strategy and House of Innovation dynamic in the marketplace 

Qualifications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. 
  • At least 10 years retail experience, including at least 5 years senior management experience of high turnover, large store/region
  • Digital literacy.  Experience in omni-channel retailing
  • Proven track record of delivery of results including all retail KPIs
  • Must have flagship experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with the ability to build, lead and manage high-performing teams and develop talent, succession planning
  • Retail operational excellence, budgeting and planning experience
  • Aesthetic understanding of the product proposition within high end retail
  • Proven record of driving teams on premium service delivery
  • History of delivering product presentation excellence
