Description
  • Analyzes, audits, reconciles and oversees payroll processing to ensure accurate and compliant employee payroll.

  • Ensure proper filing of social securities and tax returns to the local statutory authorities

  • Maintain supporting payroll documentations and authorizations for internal and external audits

  • Responsible for meeting the pre-determined payroll metrics and compliance requirements

  • Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational problems

  • Provide support on payroll related projects and initiatives, as required

  • Be the point of contact with employees and HR Business Partners/HR Managers on payroll matters, tax issues and time track matters.

  • Partner and build relationship with Key stakeholders to constantly identifying opportunities for higher efficiency and productivity.

  • Decisions are guided by policies; procedures and business plan

  • Promote a good working environment by demonstrating an open, trusting and respectful approach with all colleagues and acting therefore as a role model for brand principles and maxims.

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Payroll/HR; regional payroll experience in a multinational or outsourcing or shared service environment is preferred

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Have an understanding of the statutory regulations, social insurance requirements and tax implications in Greater China.Experience in other countries will be advantageous.

  • Team player, energetic, service-oriented and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment under tight deadlines independently and with minimal supervision

  • High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail is essential

  • Prioritizes, organizes and makes decisions related to own work

  • Uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel applications

  • Working Knowledge of SAP HR is preferred
