Analyzes, audits, reconciles and oversees payroll processing to ensure accurate and compliant employee payroll.
Ensure proper filing of social securities and tax returns to the local statutory authorities
Maintain supporting payroll documentations and authorizations for internal and external audits
Responsible for meeting the pre-determined payroll metrics and compliance requirements
Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational problems
Provide support on payroll related projects and initiatives, as required
Be the point of contact with employees and HR Business Partners/HR Managers on payroll matters, tax issues and time track matters.
Partner and build relationship with Key stakeholders to constantly identifying opportunities for higher efficiency and productivity.
Decisions are guided by policies; procedures and business plan
Promote a good working environment by demonstrating an open, trusting and respectful approach with all colleagues and acting therefore as a role model for brand principles and maxims.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Payroll/HR; regional payroll experience in a multinational or outsourcing or shared service environment is preferred
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Have an understanding of the statutory regulations, social insurance requirements and tax implications in Greater China.Experience in other countries will be advantageous.
Team player, energetic, service-oriented and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment under tight deadlines independently and with minimal supervision
High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail is essential
Prioritizes, organizes and makes decisions related to own work
Uses discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel applications
Working Knowledge of SAP HR is preferred
