Our Director of Executive Coaching & Development on the Global Learning & Development (L&D) team, is responsible for developing and running Nike’s approach to executive coaching, external executive education and top team effectiveness. We need a leader who is passionate about ensuring efficient outcomes from these development engagements, in service of building great leaders at Nike, now and for the future!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will identify and lead the right partners and providers to support Nike’s needs for the above, developing and maintaining the framework and portfolio of solutions. You will gain key partner support for the approach and educate HR partners on their role. Additionally, you will be responsible for the intake for executive coaching, executive education, and top team effectiveness requests, working to service levels defined in the strategy and consulting with key partners to identify the right solution for the individual need. You will also measure outcomes and impact against defined metrics to ensure optimal return on expectation for both the participant and the business. Finally, you will continually scan the landscape for best practice thinking and approaches in this space, so that Nike can be at the forefront of developing extraordinary leaders to meet the future needs of the business.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will partner with the L&D VP and the Leader & Manager Development Sr. Director, to define the strategy & approach to executive coaching, external executive education and top team effectiveness at Nike. You’ll collaborate across L&D and Talent Management to help craft a synchronized approach to mentoring, external development and team efficiency. You will improve technology and internal resources at levels below executive to enable access to growth and development deeper in the organization.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

• Master’s degree in Executive Development, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in in-house executive development / coaching for leading global consumer brands or as an external consultant for a leading provider in executive development
o 2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
• Certified Executive Coach
• Certified practitioner in one or more 5-factor psychometric assessments (ideally Hogan)
• Certified practitioner in more than one team efficiency methodologies (e.g. Lencioni)
• Deep understanding of pedagogy, practices & trends in Leadership Development
• Confident communicator, facilitator and performance consultant at senior executive level
