Will utilize a wide array of Java tools in business, web, and client-server environments including Java J2EE, Spring, MVC, and Web Services in Beaverton, OR. Will work with Junit, TestNG, JSON, and XML. Will manage object oriented analysis, design and designing patterns, and J2EE patterns. Will write web services utilizing a Web Search backend, including Endeca and Elastic. Will maximize build quality and simplify the build process through use of build and integration tools, including Ant and Maven. Will review the design and development of object oriented and multi-tier applications in a complex architectural landscape. Will oversee full life-cycle solution delivery projects. Will manage an Agile delivery environment. Will collaborate with product owners, architects, product managers, and business subject matter experts to ensure delivered solutions achieve business outcomes. Will review code and adhere to standards and operations procedures. Will manage continuous integration. Will review the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of application software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Will review multidisciplinary research and collaborate in planning, designing, developing, and utilizing systems. Will determine end user needs. Will ensure that programs are compatible across platforms and browsers. 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or engineering. Experience: seven years of overall progressive experience in application engineering. Skills/Requirements2 years of experience: (1) Amazon Web Services; (2) Web Services; (3) Design Patterns; (4) search technology; (5) unit and integration testing; (6) coordinating with a wide range of teams to determine requirements and develop applications; (7) Java; (8) Spring framework; and (9) automated build tools.
