NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will lead experienced advanced analytics and management consulting professionals that excel at driving innovation in global supply chain strategy and operations in Beaverton, OR. Will invent the supply chain of the future and solve operations challenges to improve performance and create sustainable competitive advantage.  Will solve challenging strategic supply chain questions. Will utilize a strong quantitative background in operations research and statistics, data analysis and modeling as well as knowledge of supply chain optimization, operations, and inventory management.  Will create data science strategy and roadmaps. Will assess current capabilities and create a roadmap aligned with corporate growth strategy. Will manage and grow a team of data scientists, economists, and analytics managers to deliver insights and analytical capabilities to the supply chain. Will lead a network of analytics professionals within the supply chain functions. Will build strong relationships with senior leaders and work collaboratively and cross functionally to develop strategies to leverage data. Will bring a rigorous statistical, data-driven mindset to business decisions and foster a data-driven culture. Will work closely with business stakeholders on project scoping, management, and recommendations. Will lead business sponsorship of analytics recruitment, talent pipeline, university partnerships and training across supply chain. Will represent data science for the supply chain with internal and external stakeholders. Will partner with internal and external resources to achieve goals and deliverables. Will engage in domestic and international travel of five percent or less. Will have direct subordinates of three to five. 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, statistics, or math. Experience: eight years of overall progressive experience in data science. Skills/Requirements:  6 years of experience: (1) developing analytical systems and working with big data; (2) analytical programming languages and utilizing experience in adapting to new and innovative languages; (3) data structures and reviewing how data is stored and can be queried; (4) analytical algorithms, including forecasting and modeling; (5) manipulating, cleansing, and engineering data; (6) building and maintaining predictive analytical models that are being used continuously; (7) visualizing and story telling the results of an analysis and how an algorithm is working; and (8) Agile development methodology.
