WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Global Technology interns will support various functions across the enterprise. The ideal intern candidate has an ability to the see big picture, understand how technology impacts the entire organization, and must possess a passion for consumer facing digital technology and innovation.
Previous experience or demonstrated interest in a digital technology, marketing/consumer facing technology organization and/or enterprise data and analytics team.
Prior experience designing and implementing web/mobile applications.
Ability to write computer code that is accurate, well tested, and easy-to-read.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE:
Our goal for the Global Technology Internship is to provide an incredible and unique experience, showing what it is like to be at Nike full-time. As a Global Technology Intern, you will lead one or more projects that will require you to dive-deep into our business, exercise and showcase critical thinking while problem solving to deliver insights that will move the business.
Intern Project Examples Include:
Keep Nike on the offensive by integrating Machine Learning within our technologies to identify and resolve incidents faster and more efficiently.
Scale Nike’s innovation teams and our sustainability goal of moving to zero waste through use of computer vision, code, agile methodologies, and robotics.
Ensuring people with disabilities have equitable access to Nike’s Technology using Artificial Intelligence.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Qualifications:
Enrolled in an undergraduate program with an expected graduation date of Fall 2024 or Spring 2025
0-2 years’ work experience
Resume submission required.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of one or more computer programming languages: Java, Python, React, Swift, JavaScript, XCode, Android Studio, C#, SQL, Scala, Shell Scripting
Knowledge of one or more big data processing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark (SQL & Streaming), Nifi, Flink.
Experience in a cloud-based environment: AWS, Azure, Lambda, Google, IBM cloud, etc.
Experience in Docker, GCE, Rackspace or Kubernetes
Working knowledge of scrum and agile principles and continuous delivery tools like Git, Jira, Version One, or Bitbucket.
Preferred Experiences:
Relational and Non-Relational data base technologies: Oracle, NoSQL, MS-SQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, Hbase, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
Business intelligence tools like Tableau
SAP platform and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Manhattan.
