WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Your role at Nike will require significant cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external partners and partnerships.  You will work within the Brand Marketing team, manage the Lead Men’s Brand Marketing Professional, be a critical part of the Marketing Leadership Team and report to the Senior Marketing Director, Pacific. You will also work with key geography partners to harmonize, build and execute marketing plans.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Director, Brand Marketing Men’s, is a proven Marketing leader with a deep understanding of the consumer, their lifestyle, and their relationships with Sport. This role will lead the Men’s Brand Marketing team, to deliver on brand and business objectives, connect athletes with innovation, experiences and sport activity that position Nike as an industry leading sport and lifestyle brand. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Brand Strategy and Brand Management, ability to create deep consumer and community connections, is curious and eager to innovate, has an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to test & fail and learn & evolve. In addition to the above, the candidate will bring in -

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field. MBA is a plus.

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Brand Marketing or related field. 

  • Experience working with marketing analytics, deriving actionable insights and applying learnings, whilst working with the details and big picture, managing multiple and competing projects and priorities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; experience crafting strategic recommendations and persuasive presentations to leadership.

  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion for sport and culture and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand/business.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Leading with insights, you will obsess how to make our brand, product, purpose and seasonal messages resonate with our Men’s athlete*. You will be at the forefront of crafting a breakthrough Men’s brand vision and strategic plan, obsessing about the consumer journey. You will drive the development and execution of best-in-class Men’s lead brand plans implementing content and experiences both digitally and physically for the consumer, across Lifestyle, AFL and Basketball. You Will -

  • Lead and work cross functionally with teams of consumer-obsessed, marketing experts responsible for building, integrating and executing Nike’s brand plans across multiple channels.

  • Lead, own, and drive the holistic Men’s Brand Vision, Strategy & Brand Plans for Pacific, delivering on brand and business objectives.

  • Be responsible for the effective management, forecasting and return on investment for the Men’s Marketing budget.

  • Manage the seasonal planning process/calendar including leading, contributing, and driving the seasonal plan for your Consumer Field of Play. 

  • Be an active coach and mentor to members of a high-performing marketing team.

  • Manage global and geo stakeholders to ensure communication and alignment with global strategic direction across countries is upheld and harnessed.
