The Nike Consumer Director will lead and enable Nike Consumer Experience (NCX) with an emphasis on digital, key cities and core consumer profiles.
You will be responsible for enabling, engaging and inspiring a team of cross functional experts in order to assure we deliver against the business goals, meet our consumer expectations and assure the NCX comes to life in a consumer-right and locally relevant way.

The role has three areas of focus:

1) Establish the connection from key cities and territories into Nike Digital Direct
2) Strengthen the connection from Nike Direct into Nike’s sport/consumer category offense
3) Create the future digital strategy that leads with digital and Nike Direct

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Being a digital and retail expert and resource in order to support elevating Nike Direct Digital across the organization.
• Partnering in Geo to assure Nike Direct Digital business priorities are clear and delivered cross functionally while assuring gaps are filled throughout pre-season planning, season kickoff and in-season read and react activities.
• Being a single point of contact to and partner with Nike City Consumer Directors to assure deliverables are clear; partners to identify opportunities and closes gaps in order to drive the business in the city/territory.
• Identifying opportunities signaled by City teams that are relevant for consumers across territories to include in seasonal plans and read and react execution.
• Leading future digital strategic opportunities as defined by Nike’s corporate strategic goals.
• Identifying digital product and consumer experience opportunities based on business needs.
• Cultivating a deep knowledge and understanding of the business from their consumer lens and assuring all levers are activated against in order to deliver.
• Leveraging data to drive digital commerce business strategy based on key investments in partnership with Analytics, Planning, Merch/Buying and Marketing.
• Sharing opportunities based on analysis and best practices with key partners.

You will lead, drive, orchestrate and/or facilitate:
• Weekly Read & React meetings to assess performance, orchestrate opportunities cross-functionally.
• X-functional seasonal readiness planning and kick-offs.
• Monthly and Quarterly Business Review of Digital Offense with City and Territory GM’s and their full leadership teams.
• Consumer and Territory deep dives to identify business opportunities to align and execute against.
• Ensures best practices are leveraged across Geo as well as categories and functions.


Requirements for the position include:

• Minimum 5-10 years of comparable digital and/or retailer experience. You should be considered a digital expert.
• Requires a Bachelor/Master Degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field
