When Amber first joined Nike, her biggest joy was feeling welcomed especially by other Indigenous employees at Nike. They would make time to have a 1:1s with her and then connect her to other Indigenous community members at Nike. These virtual conversations and NikeUNITED networks events have made her remote working experience feel more connected. Also, the Indigenous representation at Nike inspired her as a young professional because seeing all the amazing work of the others showed her what is possible.
