"Being Indigenous at Nike, to me, means being visible. I have to start every day with a good mind and remember that my unique experiences as an Indigenous person are valuable and add to the collective greatness at Nike. I’ve been at Nike for 14 years now and I started in the field as an admin for the Nike Factory Store district store directors in the Pacific Northwest and California. I did that for about a year and a half before moving to a role on campus, still working with our Factory Stores. Working with our retail side was such a treat and gave me a good foundation of understanding the importance of our retail athletes and brick and mortar stores and the overall ethos of Serving Athletes – be it our internal athletes or our external athletes and consumers. After many different roles in many different areas, I still come to work every day excited and inspired.”
