Forward Observer (13 Foxtrot) in the US Army Field Artillery, Eli Kumekpok’s, time in the military shaped his perspective as a professional, but most importantly as a teammate and team leader. The discipline and rigor of honing his professional and functional competency through training, assessment (AARs), and refinement is something that stuck with him and helped him lead through example. Kumekpor’s leadership style is continually shaped by having integrity and care for his team. Outside of being a dependable leader, his two favorite things about Nike are working for the most iconic consumer brands in the world that means so much to so many cultures and working for a purpose driven company that lives its values and follows through with action. He is honored at the opportunity to be part of this amazing community of veterans through the Nike Military Veterans network.
