WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Nike’s Global Places & Services (GPS) organization brings to life the physical environments and experiences for Nike in more than 100 cities around the world. Our strategic partners and third-party providers are an integral part of our global delivery model, helping to activate GPS’s key capabilities in location, built environments, events, sport, nutrition and mobility.
This role reports to the Director of GPS Global Partner Enablement and will work closely with the members of the GPS Leadership team, GPS teammates around world, leaders within Nike’s global functions as well as account leaders from our external service providers.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Lead, Global Partner Enablement to manage the relationships with strategic suppliers, facilitate contract delivery, lead partner governance and ensure effective two-way communication in order to elevate the quality, performance, value and service of our outsourced delivery model. This candidate needs to have expertise in supplier relationship management and a proven track record of negotiation, contracting, financial analysis & program management skills. Experience with real estate and workplace services is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
6-7 years progressive responsibility with supplier relationships, supplier management processes, financial analysis, related applications and systems experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Experience with implementation and management of sourcing strategy.
Highly-developed communication skills – in verbal, written and graphic forms -- to influence business partners across all levels of the organization.
A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
This role is based at our Beaverton, OR world headquarters; however, some international travel will be required to understand and influence local initiatives and partners.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working closely with GPS leaders around the world to translate GPS’s business strategies and capabilities into our global partnership strategy, build and manage the relationship with our most critical suppliers around the world and help the business owners manage the delivery & service levels of our suppliers. This includes:
Partnering with internal stakeholders to translate GPS functional strategies into partnership opportunities.
Building and managing relationships with a portfolio of key strategic & core suppliers
Activating sourcing decisions and managing the contract and relationships with strategic suppliers with an emphasis on quality, performance, value and service.
Ensuring all contractual obligations of the supplier are being successfully achieved and driving root cause analysis and corrective action with the supplier and internal teams to address any performance gaps
Identifying and recommending continuous improvement opportunities that elevate the value of the partnership across the Nike enterprise and our suppliers.
Leading key stakeholder interactions with GPS and account leadership, listening and assimilating diverse views, to successfully drive to actionable consensus.
