To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
As Demand and Supply Management (DSM), we serve the Nike planning function combining insights and analytics to sense and craft how much product consumers will want, where and when they’ll want it. This offense combines work in the Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) and Assortment Planning sub functions to support a more detailed and flexible approach to serve consumers and drive inventory efficiency for NIKE and our partners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role is part of the Brand Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) team. The Brand MFP team is leading the Cross Consumer CFOP x MP offense for the 6 seasons Planning Rolling Forecast (PRF) process across the Geo in partnership with Finance and Merchandising. Synchronizing and aligning the PRF in service of delivering strategic growth objectives to enable sound and swift decisions with aligned and transparent assumptions, visibility to gaps to targets and actions required to close them.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
- Support and deliver new overall MFP planning process. Activate & install CFOP x MPU offense through the MFP lens.
- Support in CODE gate deliverables (GGP, SIR, BB) in collaboration with Finance and Assortment planning
- Drive and elevate MFP process, capabilities and planning results by driving process improvements, training, best practice sharing and tool development (LePlan, o9)
- Take business ownership of our MFP planning tool and work with our technical product manager to continue to prioritize enhancements and coordinate further rollout of our planning capability.
- Perform ad hoc deep dives and analyses on MFP related topics and drive data driven decision making.
- Report out and deep dives on monthly MFP submissions
- Support end user of the Geo MFP tools (e.g. access requests, data validation, account hierarchy changes, end user training/support).
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
As this is a cross-functional role you will collaborate together with the MPU and Consumer/CFOP MFP teams which drives our one MFP plan. You will collaborate with the MFP community across channel, consumer and CFOP. In addition, you will collaborate with IBP, Finance, Partner, and Nike Direct teams.

- DATA AND TECH: Affinity with large, complex sets of data. Identifying, designing and implementing internal tool and process improvements in collaboration with other stakeholders including tech. Understanding of basic coding concepts and ability to translate business needs into requirements for tech.
- PLANNING EXPERTISE: Has demonstrated experience in relevant planning domain (e.g. retail, product, supply & inventory, digital/e-commerce) incl retail math with the ability to apply that knowledge independently in their work. Possesses a basic understanding of consumer, marketplace and supply planning & collaboration points with upstream & downstream functions. Maintains awareness of emerging trends in planning
