Job Description Overview

Job Title: DC Athlete I

Reports to: AM Shipping Coach

Overview

Responsible for working in a fast-moving team environment, in which loaded corrugated boxes are processed, palletized and shipped out to Nike customers.

Core Accountabilities

• Strict adherence to all Nike safety policies and procedures
• Report any unsafe conditions. Take appropriate measures to protect your own safety and that of your colleagues
• Palletizing customer cartons to specific conditions and sortation rules (PO, Shipment, LP)
• Loading and unloading of corrugated boxes onto or from conveyor belts, or pallets
• Load/scan corrugate boxes into serialized containers
• Ensuring and acknowledge quantities match requested customer order levels.
• Repeated use of reporting tools and Microsoft office to track and report data.
• Constructing corrugated boxes, and applying shipping labels
• Using RF devices to scan/complete material movements in the system
• Keep area tidy and organized.
• Must be able to interact effectively and work successfully with a diverse group of people on all levels to reach common goals

Other Duties

• Must be willing to work with/in other areas as required as well as weekends and overtime as needed
• Lifting between 10lbs – 50lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Using appropriate safe cutting tools for tape and boxes
• Operation of Pump Truck
• Operation of pallet wrapping machines.
• Loading product & pallets on and off trailers.
• Follow and adhere to departmental and workplace SOP and safety guidelines.
