Nike N.A. Express Lane (NAEL) creates world-class footwear and apparel for the North America consumer at speed. The Graphic Studio supports both of these product engines, collaborating with all functions to bring compelling product to market. We leverage Nike’s library of product models to update and refresh, working close to market and hyperlocal.

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are looking for a Designer I who is versatile, collaborative, eager to learn and has a passion for bringing great on-product graphic storytelling to life. 

This candidate needs to be highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, self-motivated and savvy with a breadth of 2D tools, especially Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, while eager to dive into the evolution of 3D product creation. They have a solid design background and are able to work with complex graphics and prints, maintaining fidelity and helping execute new graphic solutions as well. 

They are motivated problem solvers and collaborators who are enthusiastic about creating efficiencies to work accurately at pace. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

You will create and maintain graphic schematics, help create consumer-right color and graphics assortments and manage product imagery, focusing on footwear but also regularly working within the apparel space. You will work heavily in Photoshop and occasionally in 3D programs to render out photo-real product imagery. You will support our design teams creating trim tech packs, all-over prints and style schematics in Illustrator. Managing multiple competing priorities daily is no sweat. You will be able to work with palettes, leverage library assets and other technology and are always willing to learn and push our processes forward. 

You will attend team meetings, partner with triad teammates but also work well independently. You will intake work and collect information from multiple sources, interact within Miro workspaces, communicate effectively across the product creation triad and contribute to building a thriving team environment. 

 

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

This role sits within the Graphic Studio, spanning apparel and footwear within this geo express lane team. We collaborate with and support the design teams as well as the entire product triad, especially the development teams to make sure highly accurate tech packs, schematics and product images are produced and updated on-time. 

You will report to the Graphic Studio Manager and liaise with global and Digital Product Creation counterparts.  

 

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite; highly proficient in Illustrator; proficient in Photoshop 

  • Experience in 3D programs is a plus (CLO, V-Stitcher, Modo, or Adobe substance) 

  • Knowledge of color, print and production of graphics 

  • Quality control of imagery and details in a high-speed environment 

  • Technical skills within automation, scripts and CC Libraries are a plus
