To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will be part of NDDC (Nike Direct Digital Commerce) Planning team under DSM (Demand Supply Management), the end-to-end planning organization in Nike Korea. Team is managing short-term merchandise financial planning and in-season management through inventory management and pricing strategy. Closely working with NDDC Marketplace team to support the consumer in digital marketplace in both NDDC owned and third-party platform.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role demands excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketplace, logistics and merchandising. Storing problem-solving abilities and adaptability are crucial, as allocator often works in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift rapidly. Time management and organization skills are necessary to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- 2+Years and sports industry of experience and comprehensive understanding of retail math preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications; proficiency in Excel.
- Strong oral and written communications skills (in Korean and English).
- Strong team player with ability to work in a matrix environment with cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will drive both Nike owned digital and third-party platform with maximizing productivity and profitability. You will work with the team to optimize seasonal, monthly and weekly flow of products to mitigate lost demand and maximize in-stock rate.
- Communicate and execute the allocation plan for owned and partner’s digital business to achieve financial goals, target inventory levels and assortment distribution strategy,
- Closely monitor the business trend and utilize information during allocation. Address issues and advise strategy to bring inventory to standard level.
- Responsible for managing allocation tool, timely execution of orders, delivery tracking and further replenishment.
- Support NDDC planning team to respond effectively on consumer and cross functional team’s demand.
