To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accounts, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely in squads with the assortment planning and merchandising teams for Nike Direct Stores. You will also collaborate with MSC & strategic partners within EHQ and store teams.

As part of the team, you ensure Nike wins with the consumers: your decisions guarantee the right merchandise assortment is available at the right time, in the right stores, in the right volume. Being an Allocator for the Nike Stores, you will join our strong retail team at our European Head Office based in Hilversum and look after our most premium retail doors across the European Market. Analytics: We’re expecting a candidate to be able to prove a decision based on numbers and create a story around any trend. A blend of analytical skills are required, being able to leverage data to develop plans and drive better decisions. High systems affinity & strong working knowledge of tools including Excel and Tableau.
Planning: You are already aware that retail is a detailed and fast changing environment, and we ask our Allocation Team to be on top of their Business, planning their In-Season and identifying their risks and opportunities and presenting strong action plans to our Stakeholders.
Consumer focus: Context is key. As an allocator, you understand the consumer & marketplace needs and you can capture trends by building strong business cases, backed with data and strong storytelling.
Team: Strong team player with a positive attitude who helps train and develop peers. Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with upstream & downstream functions. Proactively approach self-development seeking and acting on feedback from peers & leaders.
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Allocation, Planning, Merchandising or Buying.
Commercial & Entrepreneurial mind and skillset, ability to negotiate and trade pre and in-season.
Strong retail mindset, preferably in corporate environment in the Fashion or Sports Industry.
You will be able to demonstrate a self-starter and forward-looking mentality and be eager to drive and own end to end communication with results driven.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Excel. Experience in Tableau, Power BI, SQL and similar is a plus.
Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As an Allocator you will:
Capture market and store trends and work closely with the Merchandising and Assortment Planning teams to drive a compelling assortment to our retail doors in order to maximize sales
Analyze sales and inventory information to optimize the replenishment process
Collaborate with key cross functional stakeholders on pre-season and in-season risks & opportunities
Allocate within the constraints of maximum target capacities; allow smooth transitioning between campaigns, flows and seasons
Create ad-hoc reporting as needed to drive allocation decisions and educate stakeholders on current stock position, risks and opportunities
Collaborate in your in-season trade meetings. Be a trusted business partner in highlighting risks and opportunities in supply to deliver impactful actions with your squad partners, including promotions.
Represent the squad to bring actions in cross-functional larger trade meetings.
Responsible for quarterly set up and presentation of Seasonal Kick Off.
Lead your own projects, collaborating cross-functionally and sharing expectations, timelines and findings.
