WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a seasoned Principal, CP&I Strategy, to join our Consumer Product and Innovation team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the consumer product landscape. You are a collaborative leader with a proven track record of driving growth and transformation through strategic planning, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You possess a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights and recommendations. You are a strong communicator and influencer, able to effectively engage and align stakeholders across the organization. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As Principal, Strategy in the Consumer Product and Innovation organization, you will drive strategic decision-making and business outcomes by developing and executing comprehensive strategic plans. You will create and communicate a clear strategic vision, aligned with the company's overall objectives, and inform executive-level decision-making through data-driven insights and compelling presentations. Your work will focus on driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence, while identifying and mitigating risks and ensuring the organization's goals and metrics remain relevant and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Strategic Roadmaps: Create and maintain strategic roadmaps that outline key initiatives, milestones and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall strategy and objectives.
- Develop and Deliver Strategic Presentations: Create and deliver compelling, data-driven strategic presentations to executive-level audiences to inform and influence strategic decision-making, drive business outcomes, and showcase the CP&I organization’s vision, strategy and results
- Define and Track SMART goals & KPIs: Establish, measure and track SMART goals that align with our domain’s overall strategy and objectives. Identify & track KPIs to measure progress towards our SMART goals and strategic objectives. Identify trends and areas for improvement to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful achievement of our goals and objectives.
- Provide Strategic Guidance and Support: Provide coaching and support to CP&I teams to help them understand and achieve SMART goals and KPIs. Ensure that all partners have the necessary resources and tools to achieve their objectives.
- Review and Revise SMART goals and Metrics: Regularly review and revise domain goals and metrics in partnership with Product Management to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Adjust SMART goals and metrics as needed to reflect changes in the domain’s strategy and objectives.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will report to the Director, CP&I strategy and you’ll work closely with the (BOE) Business Operations & Enablement team in Consumer Product & Innovation (CP&I). You’ll also work and collaborate with your peers in Product Management to deliver reporting excellence and partner across the board to improve and detail accountabilities, goals, metrics, KPIs and responsibilities in our cross-functional operating model. And you’ll also cooperate with partners across the Global Technology landscape, Technical Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Global Operations groups.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills: With the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and executives.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to effortlessly navigate ambiguity and articulate a clear point of view
- Strong Program Management Skills: With the ability to develop and manage high-performing teams and lead change initiatives.
- Ideal candidate has experience creating and managing multi-year strategies
- Ability to drive insights from unstructured data
- Proven Track Record off driving business growth, profitability, and innovation through reporting strategies and business goal measurements.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: With the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and opportunities, and develop and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with measurable business objectives and SMART goal concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; preferred
- Skillful ability to lead, develop, coach, drive and inspire a team.
- Compelling use of storytelling to influence & engage others.
- Ability to adapt and lead through times of change.
