The annual base salary for this position ranges from $103,900.00 to $176,900.00. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who are we looking for:

As an Operations Manager, you’ll co-lead the execution of one of Nike’s Omnichannel Distribution Centers, ensuring that all building safety, quality, performance, and financial objectives are met. You’ll demonstrate leadership by fostering a positive and collaborative environment with the Firstline Coaches you lead and in partnership with the site’s cross-functional leadership team. You’ll lead us into the future by focusing on standard work, problem solving, and continuous process improvement.

What you will work on:

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational processes in an Apparel Distribution Center to ensure product arrives to customers on time with quality while delivering best-in-class productivity. You’ll analyze performance data for the purpose of driving key decisions around service, operations, and logistics. You’ll facilitate and encourage process improvement focused on making the operation more simple, flexible, and scalable.

  • You will be responsible for fostering an environment that enables us to meet the Safety, Quality, and Performance expectations of our facility
  • You will own the facility labor and capacity models, using the inputs of forecasted volumes to make staffing decisions that achieve the targeted goals inclusive of service and cost
  • You will set and meet SMART goals for key operational results using performance data and insights
  • You will lead and develop a team of Firstline Coaches, ensuring consistent behaviors, effective teamwork, and capabilities to be best in class leaders
  • Facilitate and encourage continuous improvement processes, ensuring operational consistency across shifts and demonstrating the ability to run the operation efficiently and flexibly
  • You will be part of a winning team, placing enterprise and team goals above individual goals by working across cross-functional teams locally and across North America to meet marketplace and consumer expectations

Who you will work with:

In this role, you will report directly to the Assistant General Manager and you will lead and develop 4 Firstline Coaches who lead a total of 60-80 full-time employees. You will collaborate with on-site department leaders responsible for the Safety, Security, and Facility to ensure we are all connected as one team driving toward common goals. You will also meet with and solve problems with broader cross-functional teams across North America.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or other relevant fields preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
  • Minimum 5 years operational experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven understanding of material handling equipment in a Distribution Center
  • Experience with capacity planning, labor model creation, productivity oversight and ensuring accountability
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening interpersonal skills, ability to lead other and influence at various levels of the organization
